Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 kg strawberries, peeled and weighed
  • 1 kg gelling sugar, 1:1
  • 1 pack of flavoring, Finesse Orange)
  • 100 ml nectar (blackcurrant nectar)
  • 1 pinch of salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Finely chop the washed and stemmed strawberries. Combine the strawberries, currant nectar, salt, gelling sugar, and orange flavoring in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil over high heat while stirring continuously. Boil gently for at least 3 minutes, stirring continuously. Then remove from the heat. Remove any skimmed milk and immediately fill thoroughly rinsed jars to the brim. Secure with twist-off lids, invert, and let stand on the lid for about 15 minutes. Then invert and let cool. Makes 7 jars of 213 ml each. The orange flavor adds a very interesting flavor.
