Spinach with ginger shavings

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg fresh leaf spinach
  • 50 g ginger, peeled, cut into fine strips
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • 2 tsp sesame oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

good with fish fillet and rice

Wash and trim the spinach leaves thoroughly. In a large pot, wilt the dripping wet spinach over high heat, transfer it to a colander, and let it drain. Heat the oil in a pan until very hot and fry the ginger strips until golden brown. Stir in the spinach, season with salt and pepper, and drizzle with sesame oil.
