Chicken breast with lime yogurt sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 chicken breast fillets
  • 1 lime(s), untreated
  • 1 cup of natural yogurt
  • 100 ml cream
  • butter
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • chili powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Wash the lime in hot water, dry it, and finely grate the zest. Mix the lime zest with the natural yogurt and squeeze out the lime juice. Brown the chicken breast fillets well on each side in heated butter, then season with salt and pepper. After about 7-8 minutes, remove from the pan and wrap in aluminum foil. Let it rest in the oven at about 150°C until the sauce is ready. Deglaze the pan with the lime juice, add the cream, and let the sauce reduce. Season to taste. Remove the pan from the heat, stir in the lime yogurt, and season to taste. Add the meat juices and a touch of chili powder. Serve hot. Steamed quinoa and green asparagus are a delicious side dish.
