Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g minced meat (70% lamb and 30% beef, alternatively only beef)
  • ½ onion(s)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • salt and pepper
  • lots of paprika powder
  • possibly chili flakes or hot paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Place the ground meat in a bowl. Finely dice the onion and add it. Crush the garlic. Add 1 level teaspoon of salt, a pinch of pepper, paprika, baking soda, oil, and flour. Mix everything thoroughly and form small sausages with wet hands. If you like it spicy, you can also add chili flakes or hot paprika to the mixture beforehand. Fry the cevapcici well on all sides over medium heat. Serve with bread, djuvec rice, salad, dips, and much more.
