Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 apples
  • 2 large onions
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 100 ml cream
  • 1 tsp vegetable broth
  • Horseradish, ready to eat
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

goes well with pan-fried dishes

Dice the apples and quarter the onions. First, sauté the onions in a little oil in a pot or pan until translucent. Add the apples and sauté briefly. Dissolve the broth in a little water and add to the vegetables, cooking for about 5 minutes. When the apples and onions have the desired firmness, add the cream. Stir in the horseradish to taste and bring back to a boil briefly. Season with salt and pepper. Tip: If you want to serve the apple and onion mixture with pan-fried dishes, cook the vegetables in the drippings and season with beef broth. While it will look a little less appetizing, it will have a unique flavor.
