Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g potatoes, cooked, diced
  • 500 g Brussels sprouts, cooked
  • 200 g ham, diced
  • 100 ml milk
  • 4 eggs
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • n. B. Cheese, grated
  • oil
  • 2 tbsp butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

Heat some oil in a pan and fry the ham cubes. Remove from the pan and drain. Layer the Brussels sprouts, potatoes, and ham in a baking dish, seasoning each layer with salt and pepper. Whisk the milk and eggs well and season with salt and pepper. Pour the egg wash over the vegetables. Spread the butter in small pieces over the casserole and sprinkle with cheese, such as Gouda. Bake at 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit) for about 30-35 minutes.
