Beef fillet with sesame crust

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 300 g beef fillet(s)
  • 10 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 50 g sesame seeds, peeled
  • 1 tbsp clarified butter
  • 2 bunch spring onions
  • 1 tsp oil

Cut the beef fillet into thumb-thick slices. Marinate in 8 tablespoons of soy sauce for about an hour. Then coat in flour, egg, and sesame seeds one after the other. Heat 1 tablespoon of clarified butter in a large pan and fry the fillet slices for about 2 minutes on each side. Meanwhile, wash the spring onions and slice them into thin rings. Then fry them in 1 teaspoon of hot oil for about 10 minutes while dripping wet and season with 2 tablespoons of soy sauce. I serve this with rice and cranberries with horseradish.
