Cherry cup with poppy seed cream

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 700 g cherry(s) from the jar
  • 4 tbsp rum
  • 6 tbsp sugar
  • 300g brunch
  • 4 tbsp poppy seeds, ground
  • 6 tbsp milk
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • some pistachios, chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

Drain the cherries and mix with 2 tablespoons of sugar and the rum. Let stand for 1 hour. Stir the brunch, poppy seeds, milk, vanilla sugar, and the remaining sugar until smooth. Alternate the cherries and poppy seed cream into glasses. Sprinkle with the chopped pistachios.
