Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 1 onion(s) or a handful of fried onions
- 1 clove(s) garlic
- 4 tomatoes, fresh or dried or 1 can of tomatoes
- 1 portion of vegetables, whatever you have
- 200 ml red wine
- 100 ml cream, milk or cream
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 250 g pasta
- Cheese, grated
- salt and pepper
- n. B. Spice(s), Mediterranean
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Leftovers
Chop the selected vegetables into small pieces, preferably cubes, and set aside. Chop the onions and garlic and sauté, add the vegetables, and then deglaze with the red wine. Add the tomato paste and any remaining liquid and simmer. Prepare the pasta according to the package instructions. Season the sauce with spices and serve with the pasta and cheese, if desired. Note: I never stick to the ingredients for this recipe. It’s more of a leftover dish. The basic ingredients are onions, garlic, red wine, tomato paste, and cream/milk. I always have some of these at home.
