Beans in thyme and mustard cream

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 750 g beans, green
  • 200 g cream
  • 200 g crème fraîche
  • 1 tbsp mustard, medium hot
  • Salt and pepper, from the mill
  • 1 bunch of thyme

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

goes great as a side dish with lamb

Wash and trim the beans and cook in salted water for 15 minutes. Simmer the cream and crème fraîche in a wide, shallow saucepan for about 5-10 minutes until smooth. Season with mustard, salt, and pepper to taste. Pluck the thyme from the stems, chop it a little, and mix it into the sauce. Arrange the beans on plates and pour the sauce over them. Perfect with lamb chops, fillets, etc.
