Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 50 g cashew nuts
- 250 ml water
- some water for rinsing and soaking
- possibly sugar or other sweeteners
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 10 minutes
vegan milk substitute made from cashews
Rinse the cashews and soak them in a little water for a few hours, or overnight. After the soaking time, rinse the cashews again. Place the cashews in a blender with the water and sweetener, if desired, and blend for a few minutes. Strain the milk through a very fine sieve or, even better, through cheesecloth.
