Avocado cream with garlic

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 avocados, ripe
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 2 tbsp yogurt, pure
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice, fresh
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

Peel the avocados, remove the stones, and mash the flesh thoroughly with a fork. Finely dice the onion. Crush the garlic with a little salt using a knife or a mortar and pestle. Add all the remaining ingredients and mix well. Finally, season with lemon juice, salt, and pepper. The cream should rest in the refrigerator for about an hour before serving. It’s a great dip for grilled food, baked potatoes, or simply on toasted brown bread.
