Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 200 g bacon
- Salt
- 1 pinch(s) of sugar
- 2 eggs
- 250 g butter
- 1 cube of yeast (42 g)
- 250 ml milk
- 500 g flour
- 2 tbsp flour or breadcrumbs
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 20 minutes
Dissolve the yeast in lukewarm milk and knead it with the flour, butter, eggs, sugar, and salt to form a smooth dough. Cover and let it rise in a warm place for about 45 minutes. Cut the bacon into small cubes. Brown the bacon in a pan. Drain the fat and let it cool. Stir the bacon into the yeast dough. Let the dough rise for another 25 minutes. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius. Grease a Bundt cake pan and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Pour the dough into the pan and bake for 45 to 55 minutes. Let the Bundt cake rest in the pan for 5 minutes. Then turn it out onto a wire rack and let it cool.
