Spaghetti with ham and leek sauce

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 300g spaghetti
  • 200 g cooked ham
  • 4 stalk(s) leeks
  • 1 tbsp sunflower oil
  • 200 g cream cheese, 17% fat
  • Water
  • Vegetable broth, instant
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Cook spaghetti according to the package instructions. Trim the top and bottom ends of each leek, remove the outer layer, and slice into thin rings. Dice the ham. Heat the oil and briefly fry the ham and leek. Be careful not to let the leek brown, or it will become bitter. Pour in enough water to just cover the ham and leek. Add a little less if necessary—the more water, the thinner the sauce will be. Stir in the cream cheese. Season to taste with vegetable stock, salt, pepper, and paprika, and simmer for about 10 minutes.
