Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 50 g sugar
  • 250 g quark, fat content of your choice
  • 2 packs of cream powder (Ruf Gourmet Cream of your choice)
  • e.g. cream or milk
  • e.g. currants or raisins or
  • Chocolate sprinkles or similar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • possibly liqueur

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

for filling cakes or as a dessert

Beat the eggs, vanilla sugar, sugar, and salt until fluffy. Add the quark and cream powder and stir in enough milk or cream to create a smooth mixture. Finally, add the currants or raisins; they can also be replaced with chocolate sprinkles or something similar. I always use this cream to fill cakes, since no one in my family likes buttercream. This is a basic recipe with many variations, making it very versatile. It can also be refined with liqueur, depending on your taste.
