Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 cans condensed milk, sweetened (Milkmaid), caramelized
  • ½ sachet of vanilla sugar (bourbon vanilla sugar)
  • 2 sachets of flavoring (Finesse Bourbon Vanilla)
  • 1 bottle of rum

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest period approx. 2 days; Total time approx. 2 days 10 minutes

Mix all ingredients thoroughly with a mixer (about 2 minutes). The liqueur should be allowed to infuse for another day or two to round off the flavor, but it can also be consumed immediately. I use 37% ABV rum, but if you prefer something stronger, use 60% ABV rum. If you don’t like vanilla, use less, so just 1 sachet of Finesse. Makes approximately 1200 ml.
