Tomato pesto butter

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g butter, soft
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 2 tbsp pesto (any variety)
  • salt and pepper
  • chili powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Mix the softened butter with tomato paste and pesto thoroughly. Season generously with salt, pepper, and chili, and let it sit for at least 30 minutes. Refrigerate. It goes wonderfully with all types of hearty bread, but also makes a delicious substitute for regular herb butter when grilling.
