Marzipan punch

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 liter of milk
  • 220 g powdered sugar
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 50 g marzipan – raw mass
  • 80 ml brandy
  • 40 ml sherry
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon
  • 1 pinch of ginger

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

In a saucepan, combine the powdered sugar with the milk, cinnamon, and crushed marzipan. Then whisk the egg yolk in a cup and add it to the milk along with the brandy. Let it steep over low heat for 3 minutes. Finally, stir in the sherry. Pour into four punch glasses and sprinkle with a pinch of ground ginger.
