Apple Pie with Cinnamon Crumble

The perfect apple pie with cinnamon crumble recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

ground

  • 300 g Flour
  • 150 g Sugar
  • 150 g Butter
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Pck. Vanilla sugar
  • 0,5 Pck. Baking powder

filling

  • 700 g Applesauce
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 3 Apples
  • 60 g Raisins
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 Pck. Custard powder
  • Apple juice

Cinnamon sprinkles

  • 150 g Flour
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 100 g Butter
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon

  1. First, the softened butter is mixed with the sugar and vanilla sugar until the sugar crystals have dissolved. Then the egg is added, followed by the baking powder and flour. The dough is pressed into a 26 springform pan and an approx. 2 cm edge is drawn.

filling

  1. Peel and core the apples and cut into small cubes. Bring the applesauce to the boil together with the cinnamon in a small saucepan. Dissolve the pudding powder with the sugar in a little apple juice. As soon as the applesauce boils, the mixed pudding powder can be added. After the applesauce becomes thicker, the diced apples and the raisins are added. The filling is now ready and can be set aside for a moment so that it cools down a little. Then the filling comes into the springform pan.

Cinnamon sprinkles

  1. All the ingredients are kneaded together, first the butter, the sugar and the cinnamon and finally the flour. The cinnamon sprinkles are now spread over the filling. The apple cake is then baked at 180 degrees top and bottom heat for about 35 minutes. You can find the video for this recipe on my baking channel.
