Gingerbread on Sheet

The perfect gingerbread on sheet recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

for the dough

  • 350 g Flour
  • 300 g Powdered sugar
  • 100 g Ground hazelnuts
  • 3 tsp Ginger bread spice
  • 2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 2 tsp Clove powder
  • 1 P Baking powder
  • 1 P Vanilla sugar
  • 1 tbsp Lemon zest
  • 1 tbsp Orange zest
  • 1 P Grated chocolate
  • 0,25 l Milk
  • 150 g Melted butter
  • 3 tbsp Honey
  • 4 Eggs

for the glaze

  • 250 g Powdered sugar
  • 4 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 3 tbsp Hot water
  1. Put the flour, sugar, ground hazelnuts, gingerbread spice, clove powder, vanilla sugar, baking powder, lemon and orange zest, grated chocolate and cinnamon in a large mixing bowl with a lid. Now close this and shake vigorously.
  2. Put the milk, melted butter, honey and eggs in a blender jar and shake. Then add the liquid ingredients to the dry ones in the large mixing bowl.
  3. Close this again and shake very well.
  4. Stir again with a spatula and spread on a baking sheet that has been greased or lined with baking paper.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 ° for about 20 minutes.
  6. Use the ingredients for the glaze to make either a lemon glaze or a rum glaze.
  7. After baking, coat the cake with the icing and cut into squares, rectangles or triangles.
  8. Very loose and delicious !!!
