Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 250 g sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 215 g flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 85 g cocoa powder
- 60 ml vegetable oil
- 170 ml water
- 185 g sour cream
- 2 eggs
- Butter, melted, or oil for the mold
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour
for a small Bundt cake pan
Brush the Bundt cake pan with melted butter or oil. Preheat the oven to 160°C (fan). Sift the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and cocoa powder into a mixing bowl. Add the sugar, vanilla sugar, and all other ingredients and mix quickly with a hand mixer until all ingredients are combined. Immediately pour into the greased baking pan and bake in the hot oven on the middle rack for about 35-40 minutes. Test with a skewer; if nothing sticks, the cake is done. Let it rest in the pan for another 10 minutes. Turn out onto a wire rack to cool. Decorate with powdered sugar or chocolate icing.
