Clear vanilla liqueur

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 6 vanilla pods
  • 100 ml pure alcohol (pharmacy)
  • 700 ml schnapps (korn or vodka) and 400 ml sugar solution

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

Split the vanilla pods lengthwise and let them steep in the pure alcohol for 2-3 days. Then add the remaining ingredients and let stand for another week, then filter and bottle. Vanilla liqueur is almost colorless.
