Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 700 g beans (green beans)
- 200 g cheese (raclette cheese, 48% fat)
- 4 slices of puff pastry (frozen, approx. 60 g)
- 1 egg yolk
- Salt
- e.g. rosemary
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
First, clean the beans and cook them in a little salted water for about 10 minutes until al dente, then drain and let cool. Once cooled, divide the beans into eight equal parcels, sprinkle with rosemary, and wrap each parcel in a thin slice of cheese. Thaw the puff pastry, divide each sheet into two, and roll out large enough to fit the bean parcels into one piece of pastry. Press the edges of the filled parcels together firmly and decorate them with leftover pastry, if desired. Finally, beat the egg yolk and brush the parcels with it. Cooking time in a preheated oven at 200°C is about 20 minutes. Makes 2 puff pastry parcels per person. Note: Served with a salad (without fatty salad dressing), this dish makes a main course.
