Almonds Caramel
The perfect almonds caramel recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 300 g Sliced almonds
- 50 g Butter
- 200 g Cream
- 16 g Bourbon vanilla sugar
- 200 g Sugar
- Put the sugar, vanilla sugar, butter and cream in a saucepan and bring to the boil on the stove while stirring, until the sugar is completely dissolved.
- Turn off the hotplate and stir in the sliced almonds until they are all coated. Preheat the oven to 170 ° C hot air.
- Next, line a baking sheet with parchment paper and distribute the almond caramel evenly on it.
- Put the baking sheet in the oven and let it caramelize at approx. 170-180 ° C hot air for 10-15 minutes. Keep an eye on it !!! As soon as it is golden brown, take it out and cut immediately into the desired pieces, or press it on with a knife, if it is already in the desired shape. So that, once it’s cold, it can be broken into the desired pieces. It resulted in 112 pieces of approx. 3×3 cm.
