Sliced almonds … About 75 Pieces

The perfect sliced almonds … about 75 pieces recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 20 g Branded butter
  • 300 g Almond sticks
  • 100 g Couverture white
  • 100 g Couverture whole milk
  • 20 g Palmin
  • 0,5 tube Butter-Vanilla baking flavor
  • Aluminum foil
  1. Melt the butter in a saucepan, add the almond sticks and fry them over medium heat, turning frequently, until they are golden-brown. Then let it cool down.
  2. Melt both types of couverture in a hot water bath, add the palmin and stir until it has dissolved. Add the roasted almond sticks and the butter-vanilla flavor and mix everything together well.
  3. Lift out of the water bath and let cool down a little. Cover two baking sheets with aluminum foil and use two coffee spoons to put small heaps of the almond slivers. It will be about 75 pieces.
  4. Let it set in a cool place … I just slide the trays in the fridge for a couple of hours. Store the finished almond slivers in a tin can, separating each new layer with a sheet of aluminum foil.
