Baked potatoes with basil topping

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 1 kg potatoes, medium-sized
  • 5 tbsp basil, chopped
  • 100 g cheese (Emmental)
  • 6 tbsp oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • Sea salt for sprinkling
  • Oil for the baking tray

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Preheat the oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat: 180°C). Wash the potatoes, halve them, and place them cut-side down on a greased baking sheet. Bake in the oven for approximately 15 minutes. In the meantime, grate the cheese, add the basil, and mix with the oil (add a little at a time) until smooth. Season with salt and pepper. Peel the garlic cloves and thinly slice. Turn the potatoes over. Spread the garlic first, then the basil mixture over the cut surfaces. Bake in the oven for another 5-10 minutes. Sprinkle with coarse sea salt before serving.
