Mushrooms fried in beer batter

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 5 tbsp milk, measure generously
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 125 ml beer
  • 2 m.-sized eggs
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp sweet paprika powder
  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • 200 g flour
  • 1 can mushrooms, (whole) OR:
  • 1 pack of fresh mushrooms – 250 g

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

First, clean the fresh mushrooms and wipe them dry. Then, mix the ingredients (flour, beer, eggs, spices, etc.) into a batter. Let it sit for 30 minutes. Dip the mushrooms individually into the batter and fry them in a preheated pan for about 3-4 minutes per side. Serve as a side dish.
