Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 class jar tartar sauce (gourmet remoulade)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup yogurt (whole milk)
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 pack of frozen parsley
  • 1 pack of chives, frozen
  • Vinegar and sugar
  • Salt and pepper, white, freshly ground

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Whisk together the remoulade, sour cream, and yogurt thoroughly. Stir in the crushed garlic cloves and herbs. Season with a little salt, pepper, a pinch of sugar, and a dash of vinegar. Mix everything thoroughly again. Chill, and then enjoy with your grilled meat. Start carefully with the spices so as not to overpower the flavor. For example, add a teaspoonful of vinegar to start with, followed by two slightly stronger pinches each of salt and pepper, and a stronger pinch of sugar. Ultimately, it’s up to individual taste whether you want to emphasize one or the other spice a little more.
