Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 250 g quark
- 1 cup of sweet cream
- 1 cup of yogurt
- 1 bunch of parsley
- 1 bunch of dill
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- salt and pepper
- 1 pinch(s) of sugar
- Chili (Piri-Piri), ground
- lots of garlic, as desired
- 1 cup sour cream
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
First, whip the sweet cream – without sugar – until light and fluffy. (This makes the cream nice and fluffy.) Then add the quark, sour cream (or crème fraîche), yogurt, and mayonnaise. Wash and finely chop the herbs, and add them to the already mixed cream. Add the spices and garlic to taste – and you’re done. I use piri-piri because it’s THE most delicious, hot spice I know. I use sugar because, in my experience, it adds a pleasant finishing touch to almost any recipe – including this one. This cream can be used as a meat or vegetable dip, or simply with (fried) potatoes.
