Vegan Hollandaise Sauce

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 40 g margarine, e.g. Alsan
  • 40 g flour e.g. B. Spelled flour type 630
  • 660 ml plant milk (plant drink), e.g. oat or soy milk
  • 1 tsp, heaped mustard, medium hot
  • 3 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp, heaped nutritional yeast
  • 1 pinch of turmeric, for the color
  • 4 pinches of Kala Namak
  • 4 pinches of white pepper
  • n. B. Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Heat the margarine in a saucepan and combine it with the flour to make a roux. Deglaze with the plant-based milk and bring to a boil while stirring until a sauce-like consistency is reached. Season to taste with the remaining ingredients, and feel free to vary the sauce.
