Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 500 g flour, possibly wholemeal flour
- 500 g butter
- 500 g sugar, but I only use about 300g
- 6 eggs
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 1 packet of baking powder
- 1 pack of lemon peel, freshly grated is better
- Fat for the mold
- possibly powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Combine butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, lemon zest, and eggs. Mix the baking powder with the flour and add to the butter/egg batter. Mix until the batter is nice and creamy. Pour everything into a greased Bundt pan (or ungreased silicone mold). Bake in the oven for 60-75 minutes at 200°C. If you like, you can dust the cooled cake with powdered sugar. For a child’s birthday party, I divided the batter into muffin cups and later decorated them with Smarties.
