Puff pastry corners with chocolate and cream cheese filling

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 pack of puff pastry from the refrigerated section
  • e.g. Nutella
  • e.g. cream cheese

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Roll out the puff pastry and use a knife to cut into approximately 4 cm x 4 cm pieces. Arrange half of the squares on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, leaving 1-2 cm between each. In a small bowl, mix the Nutella and cream cheese. Start with 3 heaped teaspoons of each; you can always add more. Then, using a small spoon, place about half a teaspoon into the center of each square. Place the other half of the cut-out puff pastry pieces on top. Pour a little water into a glass or small bowl and press the edges together all around with a fork. To prevent the fork from sticking to the dough, dip it in the water every now and then. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius (convection oven) for about 10 minutes, until the puff pastry is lightly browned. Let cool. They taste best slightly warm, but they’re still delicious the next day. You can, of course, cut smaller or larger squares, or even triangles or circles.
