Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 small apple
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 100 g tomato paste
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon
  • 1 pinch of curry
  • ½ tsp salt
  • Sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

super easy and great for kids

Peel, quarter, and core the apple. Peel the onion. Cut both into small pieces and cook in a little water for 5-10 minutes until soft. Puree the apple and onion with the remaining liquid. Stir in the tomato paste and season to taste. If the apple is too sour, you can round out the flavor with a little sugar. The finished ketchup will keep in the refrigerator for about 4 weeks!
