fast, easy and flexible

First, beat the margarine and sugar until fluffy. Then gradually beat in the eggs. Finally, stir in the sifted flour and baking powder. If desired, you can also fold in 1 can of mandarin oranges, 200g of chocolate sprinkles, lemon juice, 1 jar of cherries, or 200g of ground/chopped nuts/almonds. Pour the batter into a greased baking pan (note: even in a 28cm ring pan, the cake will be quite high, so if using smaller pans, use a tart pan). Bake at 175°C for about 45 minutes.
