  • 10 cl sparkling wine, ice cold, dry

Pour the blackcurrant liqueur into the champagne flute. Then carefully fill with sparkling wine. Variation: Top up the blackcurrant liqueur with ice-cold, dry white wine. This simple version is then called Kir Royal, but simply Kir. A more refined option is to top with champagne, rather than sparkling wine.
