Pasta with tomato sauce – all the children in my daycare love it

Heat the olive oil in a large casserole dish and sauté the onions until translucent. Cut the sausage into small cubes, add it, and fry until crispy (if desired). Sprinkle the flour over the sausage, stir in, and sauté briefly. Then deglaze with about 750 ml of stock and bring to a boil. Mix in the chopped tomatoes, garlic, tomato paste, ketchup, and herbs, then add the remaining stock as needed and simmer on low heat for about 10-15 minutes. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. If desired, serve with grated cheese or Parmesan cheese.
