Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g butter
  • 250 g sugar
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 250 g flour
  • 250 g almonds, grated
  • some milk, if needed
  • Egg yolk, for brushing

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 40 minutes

Cream the butter and sugar until fluffy, add the egg, and then stir in the flour and almonds. If the dough is too stiff, add a little milk. Let the dough rest in the refrigerator for a while. Roll out and cut out thin cookies. Brush them with egg yolk and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (400°F) for about 12-15 minutes. You can decorate the cookies as desired. Variation: You can also use other nuts. They also taste great with grated hazelnuts.
