Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 thick sweet potatoes
- 1 large onion(s)
- 2 cloves garlic
- ½ sprig(s) rosemary
- 1 pinch(s) of salt and pepper
- ½ zucchini
- n. B. smoked bacon, diced
- 250 ml cream
- 150 ml milk
- 200 g Emmental cheese
- 1 stock cube
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes
Simple and super delicious
Peel the sweet potatoes and slice them thinly. Heat the sweet potato slices with the cream, milk, and stock cube. Simmer over low heat for 10-15 minutes. Now chop the onion and garlic and grate the zucchini into thin strips. Briefly sauté everything in a pan with olive oil. Place the sweet potatoes in a baking dish and scatter the vegetables from the pan over the potatoes. Sprinkle the smoked bacon in small cubes over the potatoes. Finally, spread the Emmental cheese over the potatoes. Bake in the oven at 200°C for about 30 minutes. A quick tip for a delicious cheese crust: Sprinkle some breadcrumbs and add wafer-thin pieces of butter. Enjoy! Have fun cooking and enjoy!
