Broccoli with pasta and cheese sauce

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g pasta
  • 1 broccoli
  • 1 cup of cream
  • 3 slices of processed cheese
  • 1 cube of stock
  • some salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

First, chop the broccoli and cook in salted water for about 10-15 minutes. Cook the pasta in salted water according to the instructions. Which pasta you use is a matter of taste; we use either spiralized or penne. Put the cream in a saucepan and heat it up, melt the cheese slices in it, add the stock cube and stir everything well every now and then so the cream doesn’t burn. Season the sauce with a little more salt, but that really depends on your taste and which stock cube you have; sometimes you don’t even need any more salt. Finally, mix everything together in a large saucepan: add the pasta first, then the broccoli, and finally pour the cheese sauce over it. Mix everything together carefully. If you like a bit more sauce, you can add more milk. Let it all sit for a bit longer, then the sauce will thicken a bit. Enjoy!
