Savoy cabbage – smoked pork stew

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g smoked pork
  • 500 g carrot(s)
  • 500 g potatoes
  • 1 bunch of spring onions
  • 750 g savoy cabbage
  • 1 ½ liters of broth
  • pepper
  • nutmeg

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

First, peel and wash the potatoes and cut them into small pieces. Peel and slice the carrots, cut the spring onions into rings, the savoy cabbage into strips, and the smoked pork into small pieces. Sauté the smoked pork in a pan for about 10 minutes and add the spring onions. Then add the carrots and potatoes and cook them. Then I transfer everything to a large pot, add the savoy cabbage and 1 1/2 liters of stock. Season everything with a little pepper and nutmeg. Simmer for 25-30 minutes.
