Mussels with thyme from the kettle grill

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 4 shallots, chopped
  • 2 sprigs of thyme
  • 1 shot of white wine
  • 2 kg mussel(s), watered and sorted

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

super fast and super tasty

Preheat the grill for direct, hot grilling, ideally placing the embers in the center. Place a pot on the grill grate. Heat the oil, add the shallots and thyme, and sauté briefly. Deglaze everything with a generous splash of white wine and add 2 kg of rinsed and sorted mussels. Close the lid of the pot. Close the lid of the kettle grill and simmer for 10 minutes, until the mussels open. Serve immediately.
