Ingredients for 20 servings:

  • 2 kg minced beef
  • 100 g ham or salami, diced
  • 2 onions
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 150 g tomato paste
  • 4 bell peppers, red
  • 4 bell peppers, green
  • 4 bell peppers, yellow
  • 4 cans of mushrooms
  • 4 points of cream cheese, approx. 175 – 200 g each
  • 1 cup of cream or cooking cream if you want to save calories
  • 2 cups of crème fraîche
  • 2 tbsp Italian herbs, fresh if possible
  • salt and pepper
  • chili powder
  • 1 bottle of Hungarian-style paprika sauce
  • ½ bottle of barbecue sauce
  • 2 pts. tomatoes, pureed
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Brown the ground beef with the ham or salami cubes, season generously with salt and pepper. Add the onion, garlic, and tomato paste and sauté, then add the passata. Add the diced bell peppers and drained mushrooms. Simmer until the bell peppers are tender (10-15 minutes). Add the remaining ingredients (if you have any leftover shish kebab sauce in the fridge, you can add that too). To increase the liquid content, rinse the empty sauce bottles with water and add more water. Season again with salt and pepper before serving. Serve with fresh baguette.
