Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 100 g clarified butter
  • 50 g bacon, streaky, smoked
  • 300 g onion(s)
  • 500 g minced meat
  • 500 g tomato(s), or equivalent amount from the can
  • 1 small can of tomato paste
  • 1 can kidney beans
  • 1 can mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 large bell peppers, any color
  • 200 g cream cheese
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • salt and pepper
  • n. B. garlic

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

with minced meat, kidney beans, mushrooms and cream cheese

Heat the clarified butter and fry the diced bacon. Then add the diced onions and fry until golden brown. Add the minced meat and fry well. Season with salt and pepper and add freshly crushed garlic (as much as you like). Then add the tomato paste, the diced tomatoes and the sugar. Add the drained kidney beans and mushrooms. Finally, add the diced bell peppers. Simmer for 30 minutes. Then stir in the cream cheese and cook on low heat for about 10 minutes; do not allow to simmer any longer! Baguette goes best with this. You can easily double the quantity. Always a hit at any party!
