Plum Cake with Hazelnut and Marzipan Sprinkles

The perfect plum cake with hazelnut and marzipan sprinkles recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

Ground:

  • 200 g Spelled flour type 630
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 100 g Soft butter
  • 1 packet Baking powder
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 1 few droplets Butter-Vanilla baking flavor
  • 1 Egg

Plums & Streusel:

  • 300 g Plums
  • 100 g Spelled flour type 630
  • 150 g Ground hazelnuts
  • 100 g Marzipan
  • 50 g Sugar
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 150 g Butter
  • 1 tbsp Cinnamon

Extra:

  • Parchment paper
  • Oil for the baking pan
  • Powdered sugar

Ground:

  1. Mix flour with baking powder. Then knead the sugar, butter, vanilla sugar, butter vanilla flavor and egg. Press into a round baking tin lined with baking paper and a greased edge, without the edge up!

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees / convection!

  1. Wash the plums, cut in half, stone and quarter. Spread on the prepared dough and press down a little!

Streusel:

  1. Knead flour, hazelnut, sugar, butter, cinnamon, marzipan and vanilla sugar to make crumble and spread on the plums! Bake in the oven for about 45 minutes!
  2. Let the cake cool on a wire rack, then sprinkle with powdered sugar and cinnamon!
  3. I always prepare the dough x One to bake and the rest is frozen in portions and I have cake quickly! 🙂 See tip!
