Banana Mug Cake

  • 3 tbsp Self-Raising flour
  • 1 tbsp Sugar, white
  • 2 tbsp Sugar, brown
  • 1 Egg
  • 0,25 tsp Vanilla flavor or vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp Milk
  • 1 Banana
  1. Self-raising flour is English flour. For a balanced supply, you can also make it yourself as follows: Mix a commercially available sachet of baking powder and a pinch of salt with 500 g of flour. Prepare a heat-resistant mug for the batter. First add the dry ingredients, then the eggs and milk and stir everything well. Peel and chop the banana and finely mash it with a fork in a bowl. Mix the banana pulp with the rest of the ingredients in the cup until everything is well mixed.
  2. Place the cup in the microwave for 2-3 minutes on a high setting. The dough should rise easily, because it must also set at the bottom. Then let the cup cool slightly, but not too long. Otherwise the cake will be hard.
