Orange Muffins
The perfect orange muffins recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 240 g Flour
- 2 tbsp Baking powder
- 0,25 tsp Salt
- 80 g Sugar
- 80 ml Vegetable oil
- 100 g Quark three-quarter fat
- 100 g Orange yogurt
- 2 Eggs
- 1 tsp Grated organic orange peel
- Sifted powdered sugar
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Place paper or silicone molds in the hollows of the muffin tray. I only had one muffin tray with 6 hollows, so I baked the orange muffins in 2 portions.
- Mix the flour, baking powder and sugar. In another bowl, whisk the eggs, oil, orange yoghurt and quark. Then quickly stir the flour mixture into the orange yoghurt curd mixture. Pour the dough into the molds (works with a tablespoon, or Ice cream scoop) so that a thumb-thick rim remains free at the top so that nothing overflows. Bake the orange muffins in the oven for approx. 20 minutes. Let cool and serve dusted with powdered sugar.
