Potato Salad Made from Sweet Potatoes and Smoked Pork

The perfect potato salad made from sweet potatoes and smoked pork recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • Sweet potato
  • Meatloaf
  • Hard boiled egg
  • Spring onions
  • Pepper from the grinder
  • Coarse salt
  • Onion
  • Chilli (cayenne pepper)
  • Yogurt 30%
  • White balsamic vinegar
  • Olive oil
  • Cream of sour cream
  • Mint leaves
  • Basil
  1. Peel the sweet potatoes and cut into cubes. Cook in salted water to which you add a pinch of chilli (cayenne pepper) for 15 minutes.
  2. During this time, cut the meat loaf, spring onions and onions into bite-sized pieces and fill a sufficiently large bowl.
  3. Mix the dressing with the ingredients in a bowl. Now add half of the dressing to the cut ingredients.
  4. Now drain the potatoes and add them to the bowl as well. Let the potatoes cool down a little. When the main heat has escaped add this to the rest of the prepared ingredients. Roughly divide the eggs and add.
  5. Now pour in the rest of the dressing and add a few more leaves of mint and basil. Mix well once and with e.g. enjoy a slice of baguette. I still had Kassler left over and fried it with it.
