Apple Cobbler
The perfect apple cobbler recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
The apple compote
- 650 g Apple cubes
- 2 tbsp Raisins
- 50 g Butter
- 2 tbsp Brown sugar
- 1 tsp Mix spices such as cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, vanilla to taste
The dough
- 150 g Spelled flour 630
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 50 g Sugar
- 2 tbsp Chopped almonds
- 100 g Butter
- 125 ml Milk
- Bring all the ingredients for the apple compote to a boil with a sip of water and simmer until the apple pieces are cooked through and the water has evaporated. Put aside.
- Mix the dry ingredients for the dough with the butter well. Stir in the milk.
- Put the apple compote in a small to medium baking dish and spoon the batter over it. Bake at 160 for about 30 minutes.
- Dust with icing sugar and enjoy lukewarm or cold!
- Cobblers can be made with a wide variety of fruits and berries. Vanilla ice cream also goes very well with it.
