Mustard and Honey Chicken
The perfect mustard and honey chicken recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 6 Chicken drumsticks
- 4 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 4 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 Lime
- 3 Garlic cloves
- Black pepper from the mill
- Salt
- Liquid honey
- Put the mustard and soy sauce in a bowl. Finely grate the lime zest and garlic. Squeeze the lime and add the juice and some freshly ground pepper. Now mix everything well.
- Use the scissors to cut the chicken drumsticks at an angle to the bone several times and place them in a freezer bag. Add the mustard marinade and work it well into the meat, seal the bag and place in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
- Brush a fire-proof dish with oil and add the chicken drumsticks and then place them in the oven preheated to 180 degrees for about 45 to 50 minutes. Turn it every now and then.
- Brush with the liquid honey 5 minutes before the end of the cooking time and add a little salt.
- We had fan potatoes and tomato salad with it.
