Pork Schnitzel with Broccoli and Mashed Sweet Potatoes

The perfect pork schnitzel with broccoli and mashed sweet potatoes recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

Pork schnitzel:

  • 2 Pork schnitzel, 125 g each
  • 1 tbsp Light soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Sweet soy sauce
  • 4 big pinches Coarse sea salt from the mill
  • 4 big pinches Colorful pepper from the mill
  • 1 piece Ginger approx. 20 g
  • 2 tbsp Sunflower oil
  • Broccoli:
  • 1 Broccoli 500 g / cleaned approx. 350 g
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 4 big pinches Mediterranean-Style seasoned salt from the mill

Mashed Sweet Potatoes:

  • 2 Sweet potatoes approx. 300 g
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 2 big pinches Coarse sea salt from the mill
  • 2 big pinches Colorful pepper from the mill
  • 2 Stems / tips Basil for garnish

Pork schnitzel:

  1. Wash the pork schnitzel, pat dry with kitchen paper. Peel and finely dice the ginger. Season the pork ham schnitzel with light soy sauce (1 tbsp), sweet soy sauce (1 tbsp), diced ginger (approx. 20 g), coarse sea salt from the mill (4 big pinches) and colored pepper from the mill (4 big pinches) and add approx. Marinate for 20 minutes. That means turning the schnitzel in the marinade every now and then. Heat the oil (2 tbsp) in a pan and fry the marinated pork ham schnitzel on both sides for about 3 minutes until golden-brown and remove.

Broccoli:

  1. Divide the broccoli into florets, peel the stem generously and cut into small diamonds. Boil broccoli in salted water (1 teaspoon of salt) for about 8 minutes, drain, return to the hot saucepan and season with Mediterranean-style seasoned salt from the mill (4 big pinches).

Mashed Sweet Potatoes:

  1. Peel and dice the sweet potatoes, cook in salted water (1 teaspoon salt) for about 15 minutes, pour through a sieve, return to the hot pot and sprinkle with butter (1 tbsp) and coarse sea salt from the mill (2 big pinches) and colored Pound the pepper from the mill (2 big pinches) with the potato masher.

Serve:

  1. Serve the pork schnitzel with broccoli and mashed sweet potatoes, garnished with basil.
